Instant/Soluble Coffee Machines are Easy to Use and User Friendly, with no Barista Experience required to use. Simply push a button to get a drink. They are Faster to dispense than either of the other Bean to Cup or Capsule/Pod systems.
Speed of delivery is one of the strengths of this system. All drinks are produced very quickly, often in less than 10 seconds. As with the bean to cup systems this will vary slightly depending on the type and size of drink.
With a variety of Drinks to choose from, the machines will all offer a range of coffee drinks, including cappuccino, latte, espresso etc as well as chocolate and hot water. They will often also allow for decaf coffees and can Produce an espresso but this is made will soluble coffee so not a true espresso. Most machines feature a “jug” facility.
Consistency and Quality of taste very much depends on how the machine is set up and how fresh the ingredients are. Soluble ingredient machines suit an environment where they are well used. This helps to turn over the ingredients and keep them at their freshest
The machine cost generally sits between the other two systems (Bean to cup & Capsule/pod) but the cost per drink is significantly lower than either. These are most cost effective when used in higher volume environments.
In terms of size and portability, generally these machines are plumbed into the mains water supply and as such are not straightforward to move.
Cleaning and maintaining your Instant machine is relatively painless. The vast majority of instant coffee machines have button-operated cleaning cycles, to reduce the amount of cleaning you or your team have to undertake. Because instant coffee machines use dried ingredients and don’t grind beans, there’s less mess and less cleaning involved. There is however more cleaning required than on a pod or capsule system.
Instant coffee lasts longer and takes up less space. So, unlike a bean-to-cup machine, you’re not repeatedly refilling the beans. You’ll get more coffees before it’s time to top up. Once you open a pack of ground coffee, its oils and aromas start to disintegrate. Using special air-tight containers is always helpful in maintaining flavour for longer.
Fresh / Powder milk – These machines use powdered/granulated milk. We recommend Milfresh which is made with only 100% milk. Some customers have struggled to tell the difference between Milfresh and “real” milk.
